Xbox Controller won't stay selected
Won't Fix
Xbox controller setting won't stay selected in the settings menu. Once saved and the screen is left it goes back to being disabled. Seems to have started from the economy update.
I have tried deleting the cfg file. Updating drivers. Reinstalling. Works in all other games I tried and was working before the update.

Hello,
Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported? I just tried to reproduce it but controller stayed enabled and worked. Do you use original controller? Do use wireless or wired controller?
Any additional information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Hi,
It's a wired pdp xbox one controller (Wired controller for xbox one 048-128). It shows as an xbox 360 controller in the controls menu.
I've seen 2 other posts in the steam forums which have the issue.
If you need anything further let me know.

I also had this bug, but I found out a fix when I was fiddling around with it. Go to steam and right click space engineers in your game library. Go to properties. Go to steam input per-game setting. Set to "force off". This worked for me, but I'm still having an issue with the controller where any input with the left joystick lags the game to an ungodly level. Oh, and I'm using a wireless xbox one controller, but I keep it plugged into my pc.
