Wheeled vehicles bouncing or being thrown around

Elkas shared this bug 3 years ago
Won't Fix

So when building my base everytime a block is placed/built/grinded my rovers start bouncing and when i got the big boy builder to start working it got manhandled by the physics.

https://youtu.be/-NbEXJf0FAs

Tested it on vanilla so it's not a mod thing.

The bug affects any vehicle close enough even if it's parked on voxels instead of the grid(less pronounced effect) and the heavier the vehicle the worse it's affected some times lossing wheels.

Hello Elkas!

Sorry you're having this issue. Can you please supply your save for this world?

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.

Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Here's the save to the vanilla world, can provide the modded one but it has almost 100 mods so it might have other unnecesary interactions.

Hello Elkas!

Thank you for providing the save. I notice your vehicle has a lot of artificial mass blocks on it. If I remove those, it does not jump around. Similarly, if I place another blueprinted vehicle, it does not move around either. In the original video, does that vehicle have any artificial mass blocks on it?
