Weight not updating on small grid ship

if you are using a small grid ship with welder attached to large cargo container the ships weight does not update when using up steel plates inside the cargo container unless you get out of the shop and back in this include all engine physics so if you use 50,000kg in your inventory it don't update so ship acts as if you are still carrying it

me too.

But component loaded into the connector was updated in real time. Interesting.

Same issue. If I reloaded my game after using some of material in the welding ship, the new weight was updated in, but it still refused to update dynamically. So the ship sometimes is stuck until you reload or do something that forces the weight to update so your ship can move again.

EDIT: So these are the ones I've tested to see if they update weight when used.

Connector - works

Ejector - works

Grinder - works

Welder - does not update weight

Putting material in ship cargo by hand (Or taking it out) - does not update weight

You can fix it (Temporarily) by connecting the small ship via connector, then disconnecting (To anything) to force the weight to update, but on a mining/welding ship that is not able to get itself off the ground this is hardly a realistic fix. You can also reload your save game if in single player (Will not help in dedicated servers).

Have not tested large ship welders or collectors.

You can update the weight by getting out of your cockpit then get back in and it updated but obviously it needs to update dynamically so hopefully more people vote this up and keen sees it

When your ship is a drone there is no cockpit to reset with, but thanks I'll definitely remember to do that on my mining ship! At least until a fix rolls through

Ah your using yours as drone fair enough have you tried maybe putting it on park n back see if that works? I kinda doubt it though tbh
