Voxel Hands Non-Functional on player-spawned Maps

Solved

Problem: Any player-spawned voxel map cannot be affected by voxel hands. The game properly displays the map and all voxel hands settings work but attempting to place or remove voxels will do nothing.

Scope: Tested with spawned predefined asteroids, spawned procedural asteroids, empty voxel maps, Pertam on the star system start, and the default asteroid on platform start. Was not tested with player spawned planets or game-generated procedural asteroids.

Re-Create: Start a new custom game in creative that comes preloaded with voxel maps. Attempt to modify those maps already present, and then spawn a map via the shift+f10 menu and attempt to modify it.

Hello, DukeDankins!

Thanks for letting us know. However I was not able to replicate it. I tried to spawn moon, various planets and asteroid in empty world and voxel hand was working just fine on all of them.

Can you maybe specify more what did you spawned and in what gameplay mode (empty or on some custom "base" game)? Can you share screen/video of this happening? That would help the most, I think :)

Does this happen all the time, regularly or was it just couple of times/once? Did you play in single player or in some sort of MP - lobby, DS, public server?

Any more specification and info would help :)

Hello, DukeDankins, once again,

sorry for the confusion before... I tested it again today and it is indeed broken. I tested it wrongly, yesterday... O:-)


After today´s retest, I put it into our internal system.

I have also encountered this bug, as I enjoy creating a starting scenario in space among asteroids. To ensure that all necessary materials are present, I rely on this feature heavily. Any idea if or when this bug will be fixed?
