Voxel hands broken in "empty voxel map" and asteroid export not possible

I'm working on one of the Modular Encounter Spawner NPC mods and wanted to make an asteroid base. For that, I would need asteroid voxel map (.vx2 file), which is now impossible to get.


1) if you spawn procedural or predefined asteroid or even empty voxel map from "Spawn menu" (Shift+F10) voxel hands tools are not working in their bounding box. By not working i mean that I can see the tool, I'm not getting any errors trying to use it, but nothing happens. LMB is not adding voxel, RMB is not removing voxel and MMB is not changing voxel material.

Way to reproduce:

  • create new empty world in creative
  • spawn empty empty voxel map from spawn menu
  • try to use voxel hand


2) you can use voxel hands on asteroids generated by the game, but there is no way of getting their vx2 file. Only those parts edited with voxel hands are saved as vx2 in save folder, but rest of the asteroid is regenerated every time you try to spawn it, which makes it useless.

Please Keen at least fix the voxel hands for empty voxel map, so it's possible to create our own asteroids (as those will be saved as full vx2 file in save folder).

Even better would be if there was option to export asteroid in the same way as grid prefabs (ctrl+c -> F11 -> export to file).
