Visual Bugs with fogs and rain

Obvious issues:
Moon should be affected by planetary fog.
Instead it is painted on top of it, which results in incorrect appearance.
Letters on the hud seems to interact with fog, and produce black spots behind them.
----
Sun is also not being rendered correctly, and still produces lensflare and shines brightly.
----
Weather is also not visible from above. As soon as you go above certain altitudes, all weather effects disappear, and distant objects become clearly visible.
