Video (Error) - Can not access cockpit that is owned.

Won't Fix

Gave a ship to someone.. They took ownership.. They Could not access cockpit after they took owernship.. Tried hacking the cockpit.. Could not even after hacking cockpit..

Player relogged in and was able to get into their ship

thanks for contacting us with your issue.

However, I did not experience any issue/weird behavior.

This functionality if highly dependent on your factions settings - meaning... are you in the same faction? Or both in different? Or one in faction and the other player in without any faction (or vice versa)? Which one is which? Who gave this ship to the other one? What is the share settings of the grid/cockpit? I´m afraid I would need proper decent reprosteps like:

1) Player1 in this faction do this (spawn ship or something)

2) Player1 who owns the ship shift the ownership to Player2 who is in other faction/isn´t in any faction

3) ...

and so on. The more details, the merrier.

What exactly do you mean by the part: "I gave him the ship... he took ownership"? Once you give (switch ownership) of the grid/ship, there is not other additional action required by the other player. Or do you mean that you just built/spawn it and he took it by himself? How exactly did he take the ownership? Through some other accessible block, he claimed whole grid? Is this what you thought? Or did you mean something different?

Literally any more information... as closely described as possible would be a great help!

Or was all of this just one time issue that fixed itself after the logout/login for the other player? Did you experience it any other time?
