Transparent LCD, rotation only on one side

Mythos shared this bug 2 years ago
Reported

Like any LCD also a transparent LCD can rotate the text and images. This affects the "main side" of the LCD properly. But transparent LCDs also have a backside where the rotation setting is just completely ignored. Sadly the backside is never usable for any text, because we can only rotate but not mirror the LCD. But with some images like the green arrow it totally makes sense to see both sides and rotate the image to your needs.

(Yes, the transparent LCD is a square so I can place the block in the orientation I need, but I might want to temporarily change the arrow for a "no entry" and should be able to do via settings and not grind the block down and place a new one. Well, it has this option and it does not work properly, so it IS a bug anyway.)

Hello, Oliver,

thanks for letting us know about this one!

It was indeed successfully reproduced and put into our internal system.

Kind Regards

Is there any update on this? I still have this issue on my game.

While a minor bug that sometimes can be worked around, it would be nice if it was fixed.

Also adding a Mirror option (like op mentioned) would make a lot of sense and be quite useful when you don't have a lot of room to build or just want to put a desk right in front of it. That's what I tried unsuccessfully at Production (Learning to survive) when I was new to the game.
