Total system freeze at startup
Since the last update, my whole PC freeze after the cinematic of Keen Software House. Both ctrl+alt+canc and alt+F4 don't work, and I'm forced to press the power button to reset. I can occasionally get past the intro if I launch Space Engineers immediately after Windows finished booting. Both skipping the cut-scene and letting it play cause the freeze, in the first case I can hear the music of the menu but I can't do anything. I tried to reinstall the game, but It didn't solve my problem. I have all drivers updated, no virus show up in any scans and no other game causes this problem. The few times I manage to reach the main menu everything works perfectly, from loading any world to accessing my character customization screen. Due to the nature of the bug, I'm leery to test too much, as it could cause permanent damage to my PC.

May have resolved by doing a scandisk on the hard-drive, apparently there were damaged sectors ( how this didn't get detected by steam file integrity check, I have no idea).

I am having a similar problem. The cutscene itself will freeze within 1-2 seconds of starting to play. I still hear the audio, but Windows reports Space Engineers is not responding. Scanned both hard drives; no errors found.
