Tools disappearing from storage at respawn
Won't Fix
Every time I logout and die my tools disappear regardless of where I leave them. I'm not even sure why I'm dying because the cryopod has oxygen and power. O2 = High Temp = Warm. Tools are not left in my inventory. I have left them in the cryopod storage and also in a large cargo container but when I respawn at my medbay they do not exist anymore.
I have the same bug
i hate it whenever i log out for server restart and i am not in my cryopod my entire inventory gets wiped.
Tools, items, everythingh, i do get stock tools tho, but thats it.
One time i was exploring and the server was about to restart so i couldnt get back to cryo in time.
After restart i started to play again and i was in my cryopod, not on the location where i was when o loged out but in my base in my cryopod. And with stock tools.
Now imagine my frustration when i had to travel back to where i was exploring, some 60 km away and look for my ship which was left there. Oh and it didnt have an antenna either so others dont know where i am. And this was on earth so i painted my ship in camo green to make it harder for others to see it. And its a simple tiny small block ship.
I later found it after someone told me i can make a contract and it displayed the ship's last known location.

thanks for sharing your issue with us. Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce it when tested - no issue with cryopod observed and all my items stored on various placed around the base (cryopod inventory as well) was preserved upon the login.
Can you share more info? Where and when did this happen? Did you play SP (probably not, right? :) ), or on Lobby MP, DS or using public server (which one?)? You are mentioning "every time I log out" - can I please ask for how long are you now experiencing this issue?
Are you able to share a save file with me or at least the blueprint on the base/ship that you are using when logged off?
You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

This is issue is occurring on my own MP Nitrado server. Usually it's a day or two in between sessions so I'm often brought back to the respawn screen when I log back in. I do not survive in my cryopod. The most recent time I stored my tools in a ship not connected to the system and they remained. I will check again tonight and send a save file if it's still occuring.
