Timer blocks saves state while off

Playing in creative in the third Public test of the survival overhaul - singleplayer - offline

(don't know if this extends to the actual build)

i have set up a series of timer blocks that 'starts' the next in line.

---> door open/close ---> spot on/off

timer 1 ---> timer 2 --------------> timer 3 -----> timer 1

If i turn off either off the timers while the loop runs it will stop the loop.

but as soon as i turn the same timer on again it remembers its last input even though it was set to off at the given moment and continues the loop. - it was not always so, and it greatly complicates the use of timers

-if a block is turned off it should not receive any input at all.

i have added a door to the world to see if the behavior extends to other blocks.

as far as i can tell it does not.

The button panel in the save does the folowing.

1: start timer 1

2: toggle on/off timer 2 and door

3: stop timer 1 to end loop.

I can now confirm the same behavior happens in the normal branch.

Why is this outdated? As of version 1.198 it's still behaves like that. However as I've learned many people's creations also depend on it, so it might be good, in case you gonna fix it sometime, to build in a choice, so we can control if the timer block remembers that it was started in an off state.
