Timer blocks and manual control desync

When you have a block or group set up to turn on or off in a timer block, whenever you manually activate that group or if it is on the G bar the timer block no longer controls that group until reload.
For example: Battery, thruster, two timer blocks, control seat
Timer block 1 is set to turn the thruster on.
Timer block 2 is set to turn the thruster off.
On the G bar of the control seat you set timer 1 in slot 1, timer 2 in slot 2, and thruster on/off in slot 3.
Press 1, thruster turns on.
Press 2, thruster turns off.
Press 3, thruster turns on.
Press 2 again and nothing.
