Won't Fix
Everything was covered by a black texture except for the background and my hot bar.

Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported? To report a bug into our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it.

my friend is having the same problem he can get into the menu create a game and do all that but when he loads in all he can do is see the sky and his hot bar and hear the audio.
my friend is having the same problem he can get into the menu create a game and do all that but when he loads in all he can do is see the sky and his hot bar and hear the audio.
My friend is having a similar Issue.
He's done the following troubleshooting:
- Verified (Several times) the Steam Game
- Re-installed up-to-date drivers
- Adjusting Graphic settings
He also is using a graphics card, not integrated. He used to be able to play just fine without issue, now all of a sudden his textures are black on the planets. Here is a picture, sorry in advance for low quality; oh and we've done this with and without mods. I myself am not having this issue, as I have a better GPU I guess? But he is.

This thread is rather old as well as the last comments, so please, first of all, let me ask whether you are still experiencing this issue eve nowadays? If yes, is it still the very same, or did the behavior change anyhow through the time?
Or can you confirm that you are no longer experiencing it in current game version (v197.170)?
Please let me know about the current state of this issue.
