Terrain Respawning

Hello, I've encounted a bug where the terrain respawns after being completely drilled, in the form of lines. the pictures are of the line of terrain that keeps respawning after being completely mined and the platform itself.
You can mine almost all of it, but the last bit that you mine, causes the rest of the terrain to respawn, the issue was found, when one of my friends on our server made a drill platform to drill straight down in a grid of 10x10 with drills on pistons, the terrain would respawn inbetween the drills causing the whole platform to then be stuck and freak out, causing it to tear itself apart.
This makes it impossible to make any sort of drilling platform to harvest ore/ice effectively
