Sunlight penetrating planet

Benn Stockdale shared this bug 5 years ago
Won't Fix

Sunlight began penetrating all tiles, creating lighting effects in interiors and outside, even at night.

Trees and terrain details appear to glow at night. Interiors are constantly illuminated at differing angles. Angle of illumination moves with sun position.

Any quick fix you can suggest? Unfortunately I do not have a save file prior to when the bug started, happened in last few hours of gameplay before I realized what was happening.

Any update/progress on this topic Keen?

it's annoying as hell when it happens. I'm also able to provide you with bugged saves if you need.

Hello, Sylarb!

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. We change older threads to outdated to allow users to retest their issues on recent versions. As you say this is still an issue, yes please to you providing a save! I will look into this if you can provide one :)

  • You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and your saves.
  • Please zip the file and attach it here. If you are having difficulty attaching files you can optionally use Google Drive. When sharing a google drive link please make sure it is set to be downloadable by anyone with the link.

Kind Regards
