Stuck in faction

So few friends and I rented a server through GTX gaming, have a good amount of QOL mods on it. First two players joined the server just fine, created a faction, with no issues. The third player joined us and he was forced into (at the time) the spider faction. His leave button did not work.

He attempted all the fixes I could google or go through steam. The only thing we did not try was just restarting the world. Couple of weeks go by, he is still stuck in the faction, our work around for it was just to admin cheat factions to be friendly towards another...

This player did not get to play much but he kept making comments about not being able to research / place conveyor belts ( odd bug )

At this point we were pretty frustrated, so I randomly just loaded up admin again and started to delete NPCs from other factions. About the 4th or 5th faction, I noticed that the 3rd player was in our faction without an invite.

Kind of weird, not sure if it helps, I doubt it does. But maybe it will point towards the issue.. I can provide whatever files I can get if you tell me, rather not spam you all with useless files
