Spotlights not casting light

Reported – Awaiting fix

So I was working on a big project when I noticed something strange. When I placed approximately 100 spotlights to light up my huge hangar, half of it wouldn't light up. All of the spotlights are on default settings and my in-game graphics settings are set to high.

Hello, Jack!

I appreciate this thread is quite old. Is this still a problem that persists for you or has this been resolved? We have had a number of updates since your post and are now on 197.180 so this may have been resolved. Please let me know and I can close this for you if required :)

The problem still there, no changes. My best guess is that there's a limit to how many things and what things can cast light at the same time on the screen.


I've added more screenshots.


Angle 1: Same Angle as it is in my first picture. Space ship is completely dark you can see that it's close enough to cast light but it's not


Angle 2: Less lights on screen which makes that same spotlight in the previous picture work


Angle 3: The whole wall should be lit up and there isn't even that many lights on the screen at the same time. Half of the wall is lit and the other half isn't (from left to right)
