SotF Update causing large blueprints to take 10-20 minutes to spawn

Steve Davis shared this bug 4 years ago
Won't Fix

As the title says, since the update my large blueprints are taking about 10 minutes to 'load' and then another spawn 10 minutes to spawn in. This problem is also causing save games to take a very long time to Load/Unload.

It's happening with my ships between 40 to 250k blocks. I've tried creating new blueprints of the ships but that didn't help. And I'm running a GTX 1080 with an Intel i7 8700k with 16GB RAM and everything on an SSD.

Before the update it would take less than 30 seconds to load a world and less than 10 seconds to load in these blueprints.

Hello

Thank you for the information. Would it please be possible to provide your blueprints? These would help me to try to reproduce your issue.

You can access your save files by typing %appdata% into your Windows search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Blueprints. Select the correct folder where your blueprint is saved (local or cloud), zip the file and attach it here.

Kind regards,
