Solar panels show 0 ouput in direct sunlight in control panel
Won't Fix
Unmodded world, Earth Base, middle of the day. Panel shows 4 green bars. Looking in the control panel, though, and it shows 0 W output.

Thank you for your contacting us, but this feature currently works as intended. Batteries on Earth Base are set on discharge, therefore current output of Solar panels is 0. However, it will be forwarded to our designers to see if there is anything we overlooked.

I had the same problem. Zero wind and Zero "sun" for solar panels. I was using the Darkness Just Got Real skybox mod, once I changed that it solved the problem. I have also had the zero sun bug recently in MP after placing solar panels, a relog solved it. Hope this helps.

As this thread is rather old, let me first ask if any of you are still experiencing it even nowadays? If yes, can you please provide the save file of affected world?
When testing, I was not able to reproduce it on current game version (v197.170). When I switch batteries to Auto mode then solar panels will start to provide power to the station.
