"Smile and wave" Steam Achievement impossible to unlock.

Solved

I saw a previous report saying this achievement and "lost in space" were both impossible. Lost in space worked for me, this one I can't get to work. Whatever I try.

All achievements retested, everything is working as expected. Please read the achievement descriptions and test it accordingly.

LOST IN SPACE: Spend more than 1 hour out of sight of other players on a MP server. TEST RESULT: Retested with 2 clients, achievement "Lost in space" was unlocked after an hour.

SMILE AND WAVE: Wave to an enemy that is also waving back within 5 meters looking at you in Survival. TEST RESULT: Waving at each other while being enemies triggers the achievement for both players (both players are looking at each other within 5 meters distance)

Hello Engineer!

I retested "Smile and Wave" achievement and it works correctly. Can you please check if you test it according to its description? "Wave to an enemy that is also waving back within 5 meters looking at you in Survival." Isn't it possible you have already unlocked this achievement?

I don't know how you are testing it, but here's my achievement status:

And here's what we did:

1) Survival world, P2P multiplayer with my friend.

2) On a planet, standing right next to each other, like point blank, like touching each other, we just started spamming the wave animation while looking at each other.

3) I tried first no faction and then creating my own faction and declaring war on every faction including my friends faction. I know we were considered enemies when trying to do the ach because i got killed by his turret once during our attempts.

Neither of us got the achievement.

The Harder They Fall is also broken to some degree or at least it doesn't show the progress on Steam. Me and my friend got it randomly at the same time after disconnecting a very big ship from a station.
