small grid small hydrogen tank does not allow to recharge bottles

I've noticed this strange thing, the small grid small hydrogen tank does have in the control panel the button to refill bottles, but the ports are too small to fit them, so I think it would rather be better to make it 1x3x3 and add a large port or remove that option for the small grid small hydrogen tanks.
Or, is there another way to fill bottles without putting them inside the tank?
