Skipping over grid on multiplayer

Today i first experienced this bug and its pretty bad.
When i joined my friends server tday i experienced a problem in witch as soon as i was walking on my base or any grids laid on the ground my character would become uncontrolable and skip around over the base in random directions.
When activating the jetpack the problem would be solved.
