You can not use the same suit for the male astronaut and the female astronaut. When one is equipped with it, the other one takes it away ... But we can only use one of the two characters, if we could have and use the two characters in the same world (as in the replay mode, for example) I would understand it, but we can only use one of the two, and each time we change the other one stays with the default suit
