Ships disappearing

Happened to me today. I unpowered my respawn pod to save energy. After going to an unknown signal and coming back the respawn pod was gone and all I had was a marker with "Respawn Pod: Last known location"
Same thing happened to my miner-in-building. I had a cockpit set up and it was connected with a landing thing to the ground. It disappeared after going for an unknown signal. They were powered, but this didn't happen before. It was on a singleplayer world as well.
My large unpowered grid somehow didn't despawn after I did the same.
