Ships Disappear Instantly when removed from projector

Hi - I have a dedicated survival server and one faction has began having an issue today where they build ships on projectors and then when they cut the grid loose from the projector blocks, the ship instantly disappears in front of them.
Server is under PCU limit and there is no block limit per player/faction. Trash cleanup is turned off (I do it manually). This has happened to three of their ships today and seems to be repeatable. It only affects one faction and in each case a single player built the ship singlehandedly.
