Ship Grids Disappearing on Server Restart

Won't Fix

I was in my small grid miner, sitting still a few meters above the ground with 300 days of power. Public survival server (Keen NA #2) restarts and the ship is gone and I'm standing on the ground where I was hovering. Ship not showing up in grid list.

This has happened several times in the past few weeks.

this is still a problem... any small grid ship that is powered is straight up disappearing.. about 20 blocks from a char, they just poof.. they are powered and not connected to a station.. happened to me today 2 times . on a server. trash settings are default.. not sure why trash removes them if they are powered.

Thanks for your message and for reporting that this issue is still happening.

Just to clarify first — is this occurring on your own server, or on someone else’s (like a public or rented server)? That’ll help us determine how much access we might have for troubleshooting.

If it is your server, and you’re willing to help us dig into it a bit deeper, we’d really appreciate the following:

  • A save file from before the ship disappears — ideally right before a restart or grid loss.
  • A blueprint of one of the ships that disappeared.

And if providing those isn’t possible, even a short video showing the disappearance (and possibly the circumstances around it) would be super helpful for us to understand what’s going on.
