SE Version 1.188.1, Weird Black Octagons showing up

I was flying my ship when my ship turned into a bunch of black circles. Now this has happened a lot to me. I was on a planet and my base turned into the bug thingy. Please help i love this game and i dont want this black texture to ruin it.
If you can help me that would be great because me and my friend love blowing up stuff and building rockets and other things.

this was much worse just after the 1.186 update, but i still keep seeing these occasionally
cant be intentionally reproduced, but it still looks terrible, one of the devs said he thought it might be something to do with Particles overload on the GPU

it's mainly around planetary worlds. I made a new save's but the same black textures appear when walking out of the spawn room. it also appears when making a planetary system world. asteroids don't have the texture problem as far as I can see. though this might be just for me as I been reading that almost everyone has something different bugging their game.

I have the same Issue when loading maps on a planet. If I start out inside of a base, the issue does not begin until after I move outside.

I continue to have the same problem. It only happens on planets and not in space. Can't find anything that triggers it specifically. I've read the developers blame it on CPU-graphics but I've got a GTX 1080. The game runs smoothly on highest graphical settings and even continues to respond after I get the black stuff. Menus work, I can still build, I see yellow borders when looking at a control panel or survival kit/etc, I can move around, HUD elements like GPS or ores work. Quitting to the menu and reloading is enough to fix it, and verifying on Steam shows all files validated successfully.
