Scripts unable to write to cockpit screens in 1.197
Started a new game today after the update. I used a projector and build-and-repair to make a little miner I use in nearly every game. It has two programmable blocks running Automatic LCDs2 and PAM. I have both of those display on the utility cockpit screens. None of the cockpit screens would update.
I added a couple of text panels to the miner and directed the scripts' output to those - that worked fine.
I loaded an older save that had the same miner and it has the same problem.
I've now tried this with standard, utility, and fighter cockpits on small grid, and standard cockpit on large grid - same broken results.
Reproduction steps:
- build a cockpit, programmable block, and LCD or Text Panel.
- Load Automatic LCDs2 on the programmable block (doesn't have to be this script, but this is easy to set up.
- Add '[LCD]' to the name of the LCD/Text panel. You should see a message from the script appear on the LCD/Text panel.
- Add '[LCD]' to the name of the cockpit.
- In the customer data of the cockpit enter the following:
@0 AutoLCD
Cargo
This should cause the cargo capacity of the currect grid on the first LCD of the cockpit.
I've tested this with standard, utility, and fighter cockpits on small grid, and standard cockpit on large grid with the same result. I have not tested with the new cockpits.
