Saves and mods are gone

David Roland shared this bug 4 years ago
Won't Fix

After the Dec 5 2019 update, My saved worlds are gone, and I cannot add mods to a new world as the mod menu is blank. I have tried with experimenta off and on, i have also verified file integrity and reset the CFG file. none of these have worked.

Hello, Engineer!

Thank you for contacting us. Can you please check if you launch the game in Steam Online mode at first? Some features are not available while offline.

As a next step, please check if you have your saves in a correct folder: type %Appdata% into your search bar and you will be redirected to the hidden Roaming folder. After that just follow: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves. There should be a folder with your SteamID and a folder for Offline mod which is named 1234567891011 by default. Please check that your saves are in your SteamID folder.

Please send us a log that you will find also in the Roaming file: \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log and screens from your \Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Saves for default ID and your SteamID folders. Please send us also a screen from your Steam app if we can check you are in the Online mode: click on "Steam" in the top left corner.

We will appreciate any additional information!

Kind Regards

Game update shouldn't affect your saves and game configuration by no means.
