Safe Zone "Increase set width" setup action ineffective

When setting the actions of buttons, timers, sensors, etc the safe zone has an option to increase or decrease the set width. Neither of these does anything, regardless of whether it is enabled or disabled. I was trying to make it expand and shrink in size depending on whether allied ships were present, in order to save on the enormous power cost without losing the functionality of protecting docked ships.
