Rising sun shining through mountains

Won't Fix

Dear Support!

I have a few hours into the game now, and I'm doing a shelter inside a mountain cave.

Whenever the sun is rising it shines right through the walls like it's not even there.

Attaching some pics of it.

It's a minor inconvenience, love playing the game tho :3

I appreciate this thread is quite old. Is this still a problem that persists for you or has this been resolved? We have had a number of updates since your post and are now on 197.180 so this may have been resolved. Please let me know and I can close this for you if required :)

Not sure if this is the exact same bug, but I've had the sun sometimes shine through the entire planet on official server NA#3 (the sun light hitting the bottom of a raised platform in the middle of the night, for example).

Is this something that happens regularly for you? Are you able to provide some images of this happening? Does it only happen online or, do you experience it in an offline world too?
