Remote controlled rocket drone not working as expected.

Issue:

Cargo rocket drone is not meeting speed limit under normal conditions.

expected behavior:

When the control block's "forward" setting is set to forward, rocket remains vertical, and travles at top speed to an orbital waypoint.

current behavior:

When the control block's "forward" setting is set to "forward", rocket remains vertical, and travles at 1-2m/s to to an orbital waypoint.

When When the control block's "forward" setting is set to "up" Rocket rotates 90 degrees, paralell to the ground, and accelerates to top speed.(99.5-100.0 m/s)

When outside of gravity well, the drone rotates -90 degrees and then flies as one might expect.

Note:

A bulk of the thrusters on the rockets are at the top and bottom, pointed vertically, as one might expect. Meaning that the rocket's horizontal flight in the least effective form of flight.

Note 2:

The drone has, 1 gyroscope, 1 pasenger seat, 1 programming block(currently off), 8 timer blocks (currently not set-up) 1 large hydrogen tank, 1 large cargo container, 1 large reactor, several conveyer blocks, 4 02/h2 generators, and several modded thrusters, and lastly it has 1 remote control block.

Note 3:

The drone's center of mass and pivot point are the the center of the object, as would be ideal. I built it with red and blue symetry modes on, and balance would be optimal.

My question, is this something I'm doing wrong, is it a known issue, or is it a bug?
