Remote Control tabs out on multiplayer
Dear Keen Support Team.
I have noticed a problem with remote controlling ships on multiplayer lately.
When I would control and maneuver a grid via remote control, especially when the antenna of that grid is on a rotor (to save me from putting a large grid antenna on everything), the grid would only react with a lot of delay or I would lose connection to the grid. When I lose conmection to the grid though, I am still stuck in the control interface (meaning the hotbar of the RC still shows, but is greyed out and I can't press any key to control things). When I am stuck in that state I can't press F to get out of it or can't even press Enter to put something into the chat. When that happens I have to reconnect, then the toolbar of the RC i controlled is gone again.
In case you'd like to reproduce this I'd like to give the following details:
- on single player this never happened, it only happened to me on multiplayer
- we do not run any mods except a skybox on our server (also not torch)
- reconnecting helps to solve this
- I was sitting in a cockpit of another ship, haven't tested if there is the same issue when accessing the grid via your suit antenna
- the grids would have hypothetically always had connection (both had antennas with sufficient power), this first happened when the remote controlled grid was about 1.7km away but both antennas were on full range and broadcasting

You are mentioning clearly that it is happening only in multiplayer. Can I please ask where exactly? It is happening on some server (our? which one exactly, can you share the name?) Are you experiencing it also on dedicated server? In online Lobby mode?
Since you are mentioning "we"... I assume that you and/or your friends run the server. Please can you supply me with the save file of the world so I can take a look myself?
Either save or at least blueprint. If you can share also a video of this bug happening, that would be great help!

This was on Space Engineers Roleplay UK (SERP), I think that is not a dedicated server (?) To be honest I don't know what the online lobby means too, sorry.
I will contact the server owner for a save and will try capturing the bug happening on video too.

Ok. I have found a clip in my old videos that also shows the issue.

Setting is the following: In that situation I am controlling a rc missile to plunge into the enemy ship. But I lose control of the grid way before it comes into turret range of the enemy ship. Both antennas were on 50,000 km radius and broadcasting. On this missile I used a small grid antenna on a rotor. But I've also had this issue with grids with a solid large grid antenna attached to them. The hot bar gets greyed out and the streaming symbol appears, in that situation I can't press any other key to do something in game (for instance pressing F to get out of the rc) but then I reconnect and am back to my original cockpit controls of the cockpit I am sitting in.
As the world save is a bit big to be uploaded I would at least like to share an example blueprint of said rc missile with you (but please let me know as soon as you have subscribed to it and saved it locally, then I can remove this secret weapon again ;) )
