Remote control dont move ship with high cargoload

It looks like remote control don't take the mass of the ship into account when calculating the thrust needed to accelerate and/or rotate the ship when at zero velocity. The result is the autopilot looks stuck with the "autopilot enabled" message however it will not move the ship. If you give the ship a small push so that it is in motion and then re enable the autopilot then it kicks in and the ship move as expected

I am aka Stardriver907.

Yes. There is a point where ship mass gets harder to put in motion for the amount of thrust a ship is capable of producing. It does appear as if the auto pilot script does not care how heavy a ship is and/or assumes a weight one might attribute to "Big Blue". Turning off the auto pilot and manually accelerating the ship, whatever weight, to about 2 or 3 m/s and then turning on the AP gets the ship going to the next waypoint.

For me, this seems to get worse if there are actions associated with a waypoint.

In my tests i discovered that this behavior is most likley to show on small grids when the collision avoidance is disabled.

tested in 1.190.1
