Recent Performance Impact and v sync problem

Not sure if it was the major update or one of the hotfixes but recently I've taken a hard hit to my performance, i've tried new worlds (mods and no mods) but the problem is still there, my uncle has also been having a performance hit since the update and i've heard of cases where other people also have less performance, or their loading screens take a lot longer to load,

the second issue is sometimes it's as if v sync turns itself back on and my fps will stay at 60fps (Dan2D3D has also pointed this out as happening to him) when on lowest settings (lowest cause otherwise i get shot into lag and i used to play on a mix of a few low, most med a few settings on high) but then all of a sudden it just shoots back up to 120fps

the third issue is that when cycling through the planets in the admin tools menu it lags me to hell and at times freezing till the point that i restart my pc after 20min of waiting and try again, but sometimes its not every planet that laggs when being switched to.

I hope to see this issue fixed very soon please because i wasted about 3 days now just trying to figure out why i'm lagging cause i thought it's a problem on my side but clearly it is not and i've just wasted 3 days of my life i could've spent gaming
