Purchased Datapads don't appear in inventory - Public server

Data pads purchased from an NPC station don't correctly appear in the player inventory.
Keen Public Server CA#2
If you purchase multiple datapads, e.g. 10, a random number between 4 and 6 will appear in your inventory, even if you have an empty inventory and plenty of space.
If you log out and back in again, the missing datapads sometimes appear in your inventory.
