Projector Crashes and various load time issues

I have been having trouble following the latest DLC with large grids and projectors. I can not load anything with a high block count. Aprox 10,000 or more. in survival or creative.

general load times for pasting in creative, unloading to menu and system "Low Memory" messages, as well as projectors displaying " Terminal not connected" in red display when trying to use.

these issues persist, with survival, or creative, with mods and with no mods, new and old saved games, it is universal. I even unloaded the game and re-installed. as well as removed the DLC.

unfortunately I´m not able to reproduce your issue. Small grid size and big grid size projectors working as expected. Even really big projections (like e.g. giant engineer statue, ~60 000 pieces) was projected just fine. Obviously it took some time to load, but considering the count of pieces, I wouldn´t call it as issue.

Truth is I did experience some weird behavior in loading projections when I had Piece count disabled in Advanced settings, but the game never crashed. After changing it to max value for Max blocks per player and Total PCU (in Load menu - Edit Settings - Advanced), it worked. Can you please try this?

Can I also ask for you PC spec? It might be possible that for older/not so powerful PCs trying to import really big projections might lead to situations you are mentioning.

We would also appreciate if you can share names of models you are trying to load to projector, so we don´t test just blindly from Workshop.

Last, but not least - did you try to Verify integrity of game files on Steam? Do you have Steam cloud enabled in Settings? Any type of additional information you can provide would certainly help us.


Can you please attach the crash log once more? It is nowhere to be found here.
