Projected Small Grid Ladders Cannot be Built

If you have a projector displaying a small grid ship you have a BP of and there are ladders included in the BP the game will *not* build them.
What happens when you have the resources to build the ladder and hit the ladder projection with your welder is that the entire ladder disappears. It turns into nothingness. You can't grind down the invisible ladder or use the invisible ladder, but the game absolutely will not let you built anything else where the invisible ladder has been placed.
I can make a twitch clip to show the issue, but all you have to do is project a *small* grid ladder and try to weld it up. It'll pop out of existence for ya

This issue doesn't happen in *every* game btw. I've been trying to figure out how to re-create this problem but am thus-far unsuccessful, except that I think it happens more often when on a planetary body?
Here's a save file where the issue is happening. The ship/rover where the issue is happening has an antenna broadcasting about it's ladder issue, so you'll be able to spawn in and find it super easily.
Let me know if you need anything else as well
