Pressing O in cockpit does nothing

When you press O in your suit, it toggles your suits 200m broadcast antenna on/off. When you press O in a cockpit, the icon that makes you think the ships broadcast antenna turns on/off changes indication but if you check in the K menu and look at you antenna, nothing has changed. It is still on if it was on, broadcasting is still on if it was on. Nothing has changed and your ship is either still broadcasting if it was and still not if it wasn't. Seems to have no affect.
