Position desinc on grid (DS)

Won't Fix

When playing on dedicated server, We have the following two issues:

1) Dedicated server becomes full of: Kick, Controlled Compose

"USERNAME HERE" was trying to cheat!


2) Grid player position. The static grid has become untouchable. Any attempt to walk on the grid results in floating or desync effects. Only way is to use jetpack.

Hello,


Could you please provide us with more information regarding the issue you reported? To report a bug into our system it is necessary to have reliable steps to reproduce in order for programmers to fix it.

1) This happens after specific action or event, so it would be good to know what exactly was happening when it appeared in the console.

2) Does it happen after restart of the server? If yes, could you share the world?

Any additional information would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, I have provided the save it is happening to.

the comment made by RD provides a more accurate description of what is happening.


RD

  • On my server I have the same issue. At first the game runs normally but within a few minutes we find that we can interact with parts of the static grids but other parts have no hit box. When my entire player is inside blocks, that’s when I see the cheating message - the game knows I shouldn’t be there.
  • Non-static grids are not affected.
  • It seems that not all grids are affected. I haven’t noticed it on one grid yet but I also rarely interact with that one so I’ll check in a few hours when I get home.
  • Rebooting the server fixes it but only briefly.
  • This issue didn’t exist a few days ago, I actually think it was hotfix 22 that introduced it but I’m not 100% sure of that.
  • I can attach a world file later but I am using mods. I don’t think I have any mods that are causing it. I’ve heard others say they’ve experienced it in a vanilla server but hopefully they chime in here.

Its not a cheat, No one was on the server CA #1 only me and i was falling into the earth to my Death! no way out of it if you are out of H2. All that needs to be fixed is the Grid. x2 and might help hold back but other then that Earth is to Thin!

I just got this game a month ago, My friend said never happen to him before, and now it is, hes been playing the game a long time, But he was having an issue with blocks before the update, like wheels falling into the earth, but then the Fix update and now people fall into the earth lol FIX IT PLEASE!

Are you still experiencing it? Or was it fixed in the meantime.
