"Playing it cool" achievement does not work.

I'll try playing it once more. Can I use Admin tools, or would it disable the achievement?

I played the Frostbite scenario so many times that I made a game save just before driving the last data container to the landing zone. After the 1.197 update, I played it from the save and the scenario completed successfully and I was awarded the achievement. Whew!

This save file is a save where I finished the scenario and got the outro.

I did play this on vanilla, but I did use Admin tools. Would that be a problem?

Also, are you sure this works on every players? Despite the fact that it could be achieved by everyone, the Steam achievement ratio is 0%, which means it's less than 0.1%.

Accidentally posted too many comments, because the site acted a bit weird.

Not sure if this is okay to ask, but when is the game supposed to give me the achievement? After the outro plays, is the map supposed to end automatically?

Unfortunately, I´m still not able to reproduce your issue. On my save from last week, obtaining achievement worked as I described last time (during loading back to Main menu).

Truth is, that it is somehow broken on your save. Although it might be something totally different and not the achievement itself, as also the last objective screen is still present in the top corner.

Unfortunately, I´m not able to do anything from your save, as it is already after the fight and outro. And even the backup files are after the fight, when the objective is finished. Is it possible you send us whole save with all the checkpoints throughout the scenario, so we can use backups and find, why your quest isn´t finished correctly?

As it is working for me and Chris as he mention before, I suggest to play through the scenario one more (you can use admin tools), so we have clean saves from current version. Save the game just before the last fight and if you still won´t get the achievement, send us that save, please.

Also - did you try to quit Steam completely and relaunching it again? The achievement might be finished, just not showing due to not updating steam or so.

As for your last question - no, the game should not quit automatically, the fact that you stay in the gameplay and can play on your own even after scenario is finished is correct. As I mentioned before, the achievement is not awarded in the game but after you are going back to Main menu, probably in the loading screen.

This is the link for the whole save folder. I think something went wrong when I had to retrieve the data container from maintenance room(where you use a crane to get the container out). Can you check it out? I will try to play the scenario again.

yes, definitely. That´s my guess as well, as in Admin screen, there are 7 data containers listed. Will try my best to research it from given save. New saves would be best, tho :)

Still doesn't work. I got the data container from maintenance room in a legit way this time, and delivered that first, then triggered the disable lockdown events. After the lockdown event, I carried 3 data containers with a big truck at once, triggered the drone fight, got the outro, went out of the map. Still there's no achievement. I've updated the folder with new saves(named Frostbite-2XX).

Also, you said that "there are 7 data containers listed", but shouldn't I carry only 4 containers to the landing zone? What do you mean by that?

Finally, what is the actual trigger that gives me the achievement? Do I need to have 4 containers around the landing zone, do all the optional objectives, or destroy all enemy drones?

Did the achievement work on every computer you guys have? I'm starting to think maybe my computer is different from your computers, so it's causing this problem.

Hello once more :)

So I tried from those saves of yours. We agreed that you probably walk through the scenario more than once, so we give you exact steps what to do in order to obtain achievement :)

Loaded the game from last save. Didn´t work.

Loaded the game from 223 save. Didn´t work.

Loaded the game from 222 save. Didn´t work.

Loaded the game from 221 save.

Go to the very end of the planform with the truck with the single container. Go back to the beginning of the bridge, repair the turret that is already there. Using Creative mode, build couple (5, 6 should be enough) more turrets - container, turret on top of it, battery, spawn missiles into the containers. Now drive the truck with remaining containers on the landing platform. Wait for fleet to come. Do NOT save the game in the middle of the fight, nor after it. Let the turrets do the work. Wait for outro. Let it play whole, do not skip it. Quests should be finished when appropriate. When the fight and outro is over, wait for the quest ROS Defeated to go off the screen. Now you shall obtain the achievement. If not, exit the game like I wrote before, so you get it on loading screen.

Hope this will help you. It´s the exact same steps I did myself.
