Planets and Blocks not rendering
Beginning around December of last year (2019) my planets refused to load. In image number 1 you can see the effect that this is; recreated today. previously I managed to get a new planets to render by uninstalling and reinstalling the game. From then on it was as you see in 1 (only a planet or two refused to load). Previous troubleshooting made me partially aware of what was happening and unsuccessful means of fixing.
Today I have sat down intending to fix my problem. (these blank spots cover up everything in front of me allowing me to accidentally ram into things I can't see unless big enough to completely hide the celestial body.) After Verifying the game files I am reduced to picture number 2. No blocks, no planets and probably no engineer (I didn't check). I am reporting and hope I get a response.
in the mean time I am uninstalling and reinstalling to see if I can return to Image 1. (so long as there were no planets I had no problems)

update: after uninstalling and reinstalling only two celestial bodies are failing to render. It is playable as long as I am not in the solar system.

NOTE: If you are using Torch mod this is apparently the expected behavior since it unloads objects that not nearby. Are you using Torch?

status is not solved. (for me at least)
After much trial and error I have confirmed that your fix did nothing. Worse is that I can no longer load up a previous save without it happening (This includes games made today). And when it happens on a load everything but empty space is affected. My avatar, blocks, planets, moons, the sun (but not it's light for it now appears eclipsed) all fail to render on a load.
curiously "learning to survive" and a save made in an empty universe are not affected (I can't bring in planets or errors occur)
I am beginning to believe (not think) that the problem rests with me.
