Piston/merge block clanging at particular piston deployment settings

Hello, i'm here to fight the good fight against clang, and managed to reproduce a few issues in a controled environement. Part of them has been adressed by the multiplayer overhaul, but there still is one very much going, provoking the usual ghost forces, and preventing merge blocks to connect in a small ship at a particular minimal deployment distance of a piston's which subgrid's connected to.......

PS: Amazing work on ground vehicles on the course of the last year too, recently re-launched a destruction derby world of mine so old that it had vehicles with wheels mounted on rotors in it; to compare vehicle behavior to my memories of what it was back then on that map, and it's simply day and night, i remember it being promising, but unplayable at that time. Now it not only works like a charm, but it manages to achieve realism. Do not worry, we might not be the most vocal, but there is a lot of us who see the amazing efforts and progress you did. And we thank you for that.

Hello,

thank you for the report and the attached world. I came through it and was able to make 2 separate tickets, one for merge block not locking and another for the clang. We will share more information regarding any progress made on this issue with you once we have had time to examine it further.

I really appreciate the attached world, which helped a lot and I also enjoyed playing it. :)

I made a little blueprint with a screenshot to showcase the piston mystery forces. If landing gear is unlocked and piston is reversed the grid will start to spin. blueprint zipped for upload.
