PCU Trading is broken

I traded two players yesterday for some of their PCU. I bought 750 from one player and 4000 from another. The trade worked, They go the money and I got the PCU. My pcu went from 750 to 1500 when I bought the 750 from one player. Then from 1500 to 5500 when I bought from the second player. My total pcu, the 10,000 number did not change, just he left number. However, today all that pcu is gone and they still have my money and they didn't get the pcu back, as far as I can tell. Not cool.

I have confirmed this bug does occur at server restarts. I tried it again about 15 min before a restart and I bought a ship that put me about 2000 pcu over the original limit and right after the restart the PCU I had gained from another player was gone and I was negative about 2000 pcu and can no longer place, or weld blocks.

I had the same as well. Sold about 800PCU worth of ships, and had a friend with an account join my faction and give me all of his. All gone now. I haven't asked if his returned or not, but I imagine they didn't.

I gave up on trading PCU until this is fixed, Millions of credits wasted and lots of irritations when you cant even repair your stuff.

PCU I bought before the last restart has stayed with me. However, it still shows the max pcu as 10,000, rather than the 12,000 I actually have. So what happens if I delete all my grids? Will it go negative, but actually be positive or will I lose the extra 2,000pcu?

If you are over the limit. You will not be able to build or weld blocks until you get back under the limit

Sorry misunderstood the question at first. as for deleting grids I don't know because I haven't tested that yet.
