PCU limit in learning to survive
Outdated
Given that "Learning to survive" is an offline game mode why isn't it possible to change the "PCU limit". Its seriously restraining and ruins the hole experience.
Thinking of my pc has 64 Gb Ram and Servers can even have more, while having i9 cpus with 18 kernels etc. and the dedicated servers allow players 1-16 I dont understand why there is a rigid PCU limit like this at all.
I can only assume that the code is bloated, inefficient and wasting resources because young developers today dont care about system resources. I am pretty sure this game would be doing much better if the code will be optimized.
Instead every dedicated server is doing a restart every few hours and players are limited to 5 drills, 5 pistons etc.

While I haven't checked the Learning to Survive scenario specifically, I do know that PCU limits can be removed for general games under experimental mode. PCU limits are based on minimum requirements required to run the game; indeed, it seems the official stance is that non-experimental mode is guaranteed to work (barring bugs) on all computers that can play the game, while the more advanced users who have better hardware can opt for experimental mode where more control over the resources consumed is given.
