PC - Xbox Controller Support - Cannot Fire Weapons

Hello,
After the last update I noticed that when using an Xbox controller with Space Engineers on PC, the "fire" and "aim" functions with weapons no longer work. By default, these are mapped to the Xbox right and left trigger buttons respectively. These functioned prior to the most recent update even with the partial controller support offered. I have confirmed no settings changed on my end and ensured my controlled software is up to date. The trigger keys work fine to place blocks, delete blocks, etc. it is only with weapons that they do not function.

Thank You for reporting the issue. Unfortunately we were not able to reproduce it. Which type of controller do you use, is it Xbox One or Series X controller?
Some players were reporting the same issue and got it resolved by updating controller's firmware: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/controller/update-xbox-wireless-controller

We have investigated this problem and hopefully found a solution for the LT / RT buttons not working.
Please try following steps:
1) On your PC, open Control panel, switch to Large Icons
2) Go to Devices and Printers
3) Right click on the gamepad and open 'Game Controller settings'
4) Select the controller and press 'Advanced' button
5) Select 'Controller (Xbox One For Windows)' as preferred device
6) Press 'Ok' button
