passenger seat remote control reveals position

If I start on earthlike in the lander pod, grind away some parts to add a remote control and gyroscope to the pod, then be very certain all transmitters are off (pods antenna, pods beacon, suit broadcast- all OFF) and then sit in the passenger seat, and take remote control and begin to fly-
My position is broadcast to everyone nearby. Confirmed in test people 2km and 12km away saw my position.
Confirmed revelation goes away when exiting remote control of the grid, and comes back on when remote controlling again.
This unknown effect reveals players positions to griefers who can use this bug to target and find them.
