Oxygen readout vanishes

On or near the surface of Pertam, the oxygen display vanishes entirely, where one would expect it to say "o2 low" or "o2 high" it instead is just not there. This behaviour isn't seen when getting to any altitude or inside pressurized rooms, etc. Just outside on the surface of Pertam (star system)
attached screenshots show a world with light mods, and a brand new world with entirely default settings, at around "sea level" o2 display is no longer present.

Here's the world file, respawn at the survival kit on pertam to see the bug. if you fly up from the surface a ways the o2 display should appear and say "low".
