Only Getting a skybox when joining MP servers

Hi there.

tonight I can't join a MP server. I can join fine through the browser but when the game 'loads' all I see is a 'skybox' with the sky/stars and planets and moons. Nothing of the actual world I'm logging into. No menus or gui at all just the skybox. I can only select the main menu (Esc).

I've attached a screenshot of what I see. The game did crash once and I sent the report but it hasn't happened since, just the skybox on any server I try to join, vanilla to modded...

I have done a couple of validation tests of the files as well as a full re-install and it still happened...

im having exactly the same bug, im assuming its due to a less than ideal internet setup but every other game works fine

I appreciate this thread is quite old. Is this still an issue that persists with you? If it has now been resolved, I will close this for you :) There have been a number of updates since your post.

Hi Laura,

Yes you can close this now. I can't remember if it was an update or a reinstall/file verification that fixed this but it has been fine for some time now.
