O2/H2 Generator noise
Hello,
In my current game, which i started on version 1.94, my O2/H2 generators are producing really terrible noise. I have recorded it. It seems the sound the O2/H2 generator makes accumulates with multiple generators, untill it makes a huge noise. I did not have this before.
It also appears to reduce somewhat when activating hydrogen engines for example and it only makes the noise when Online with ice inside.

I do have mods, but none that alter the O2/H2 generator in any way as far as i know. Those being:
Modular encounter spawner
Lettermod (which is obselete now i believe)
Nanobot build and repair system
Vanilla weapon rebalance
Exploration enhancement mod
I have also tested this on a new save game, without mods. Still same problem.
Switching sound settings to realism or arcade does not work either.
Does anyone have any idea what this problem is?

I have tried to reproduce your issue, but was unsuccessful.
Can you provide us with more information? Can you share with us a save where this is happening/ blueprint of your base where this is happening?

Since you cannot reproduce it and i seem to be the only one experiencing this 'bug', i looked to my hardware. So first thing i did was put on my headphones to see if it had something to do with my 5.1 speakerset, and voila the noise was gone. So the problem seems to be my speakerset, or the software of said speakerset. I don't know.
Its a Logitech Z506 5.1 speakerset. Uses something like Realtek Audio Driver software.
I am playing on a different PC now then i did last time i played, without the noise. Perhaps the speaker in combination with the new motherboard (MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk) fucks up the specific sound the O2/H2 generator makes.
